Email your invoices and receipts directly to Ability8 and save time on data entry.

Sending payments to the app is only available on the Invoice Management & Staff Management plans.

You can email your invoices and receipts directly to Ability8 from anywhere, without having to open the app.

Ability8 uses powerful scanning technology to "read" the information in the attached invoice/receipt file. This data is then used to automatically populate a payment record, and the file attachment is uploaded.

Business ABN numbers and bank account details provided in the invoice are also checked to safeguard against fraud.

Before you start sending payments to the app, we recommend that you take the time to learn about the Payment via Email settings.

Your Ability8 email address

This is usually your family name, as shown in the top tool bar, with @ability8.app on the end. For example, if your family name was 'Hodge' the email address would be hodge@ability8.app.

Special characters and spaces are removed from any email address.

To find your unique Ability email address:

  1. Log into the app and go to the More menu > Family Settings

  2. Click Payments via Email tab to view the settings

  3. Copy/paste your unique app email address and save it in your email app (Outlook, Gmail, etc).
